European IT specialist Britenet
 to establish operations in Belgium

Belgian team further expands IT company in Western Europe

Britenet, a European player in IT and software solutions, is setting its sights on Western Europe. Belgium, with an office in Zaventem, will become the operational hub for the European expansion plans of the company, which employs more than a thousand IT specialists. Over the next year, Britenet will build an experienced, Belgian team to address the shortage of specialised IT professionals in the public sector, banking and insurance, HR, retail and logistics, among others. COO Claudia Nieuwland, who has solid experience in the Belgian market and beyond, is leading Western European growth.

Generali, Education First and AerCap. These are just some of the organisations that European-based Britenet can count among its clients today. With more than 1,000 IT specialists, the company provides IT and software solutions, including application development, AI and Data and CRM with a focus on Salesforce. Their ultimate goal? To accelerate digital transformation within companies and prepare businesses for the future.

Expansion plans

Founded almost 20 years ago in Poland, Britenet has grown into a European player. Two years ago, it already opened an office in Mönchengladbach, Germany. And now Belgium is also being added to the network. The new branch is fully in line with the strategic ambition to create a stronger footprint in Western Europe.

A team in Belgium is working on that expansion, led by Claudia Nieuwland, Britenet's COO since last year. With an international career at Partenamut, SD Worx, British Telecom and Telenet, among others, Claudia Nieuwland brings a wealth of experience in selling solutions and guiding companies in their growth.

Claudia Nieuwland, COO Britenet:‘’By opening our new office in Zaventem, we are boosting our European growth strategy vigorously. From this central location in the heart of Europe, we will be closer to our customers, both practically and commercially. At the same time, we will be hard at work in the European and Belgian public sector with a strong local team. We have already proven that we have a flexible team of highly skilled IT experts with whom we can accelerate the digital transformation within organisations in Belgium as well.”

Local talent pool

With clients such as e-meal voucher company Monizze and ice cream vendor Foubert, Britenet has already sampled the Belgian market. But it sees much more growth potential in our country. Especially in the public sector, banking and insurance, HR, retail and logistics.

Michal Borny, CEO Britenet:‘’In order to keep innovating and enable digital transformation, companies need expertise. But the reality is that they often struggle with the limited local talent pool and high labour costs. Britenet can count on a thousand developers with a high level of education who know perfectly what the needs of companies and organisations are today. Regardless of which market, our experts prove every day that they can accelerate digital transformation within organisations through IT projects with direct impact. Our expertise, proximity and a strong team that speaks fluent English and understands the European working culture make us the ideal partner for the Belgian market.”
